I havent been on much this year, been working a lot and spending some time with the family more... I have gone a few times this year hunting morel mushrooms and have only brought home about 24 from Southern Ohio... Was wondering if anyone was having any luck and what kind of areas did you find them?

Hey fellow shroomer. There is a thread in Local Ohio talk on morels. I hunt woods with Ash, Elm, Tulip Poplar in the Greene county area predominantly. It was not a good year here in west central Ohio as my hunting buddy and I netted maybe 300 total between us, 40-50 most days and one day we got over 100. The big yellows came on this past week so season is pretty much over unless you head north. Planning on going to Gaylord Michigan the week of the 19th, but they say they are up now and that may be too late, esp. with gas prices.
