Sounds like it might be fun, Robert. I'll pencil it in on my calendar...

Bank fishing? I'm not sure I'd know how to conduct myself - it's been a long time! Guess I better bring a jar of Bee-Jay and some chicken livers!:smile2:

Yea its hard to do when your use to fishing out of a boat ,but the ramp is so covered up with snow and ice you cant get a boat in( i have tryed) most of the time i buy one of them cheap walmart plastic tobogans to pull my gear and some firewood down to the channel ,works good, you should join us i know scott brown will most likely come too,he pulled that state record flathead out of there.

Robert what do you usually use for bait on those winter, flats, should be prime channel cat water fished. Deepwater creek above their as a kid, bullheads and perch. sounds like a fun deal.

Sounds like fun. Might as well go now, the duck hunting there is not worth closing it to fishing.

I think that is a little far for me to be traveling this time of year for 1 day of fishing. Thank you for the location of the lake.

Sounds like fun Robert, never have fished there. Jim and I have talked about it several times, would like to try it. I take it that they have it closed during duck season? Whats the bank like there to fish from, any special gear we need, do you need to make long casts?
