We only caught 4 fish today 12,14,32,and 36lbs which was Petes new PB.This is the 32lb fish that I was fortunate enough to get in.Got lucky on it because the reel gears started to lock up.Caught em driftin 60 to 100 foot of water, couldnt buy a bite anchored.

WE went today but we didn't catch any as big as the ones chris and pete and them got but i did catch a good sun burn. I left my boat plug at home and had to drive back to winnsboro to get a new one so I got a late start but we managed to catch a few drifting.

What is everyones primary bait at mont? I normally use gizzard never used any perch or brim,But i see alot of people like the perch. The ones I caught were on cut shad.

Right now the only thing I could get em to bite was gizzard shad they wouldnt even touch the perch, which is unusual but sometimes you have that.

where does one get gizzard shad from ? Is it fresh?

yup , the only thing we have ever used is Bream/sunfish family , or IF we happened upon a white perch we will use it, BUT all in all we mosty use bream ( I have acess to a pond that we get the bream out of )
