Monster Hybrid Perch

    We caught 10 of them, with all of them being a little over or under a pound. Largest one was 1lb 6oz that I caught, and then a 1lb 4 oz that my bud caught. Enjoy!! (State record in Oklahoma is 1lb 14 oz)

    Huge Perch. Those have feed me to flathead written all over them. :smile2:

    Are you sure they are "hybrids" of some sort? We have a bream here in GA that looks just like that. Locals call 'em "shellcrackers." They get big - couple of pounds.

    Either way, I'd like to catch one on a 3 wt. flyrod! :)

    Are you calling what we call a bream or shellcracker a perch?
