Mo river is choked up good

    Lota ice flows commen down thick some of the sheets are huge. If this deep freeze keeps up ( global warming ) we might just see the Mo river freeze over for the first time in over 3 decades.

    Yeah it looks like it might happen. The Mississippi is nearly froze over and it is not supposed to warm up above freezing until Mon or Tues and that could change by then.

    saw on the news, the sippi is got ice in it. never heard of such. crazy. they sayin we gonna get snow thurs, we havent had snow in over ten years,[ that stuck to the ground]

    all that ice is coming from my area..lo...north it is open and we are packed with solid ice and it is breacking apart now...it hasnt got above -5 at night for over a week and days have been belopw 10 degrees but now it is warnmignt up a bit but still snowing and no catfish

    I saw it on the news also . I figured that if the Mississippi was freezing up the the Missouri and Illinois would also .
    I used to work a line boat years ago and seen ice but nothing like it was showing today . Couple more days and you might be able to walk across it .....lol

    Rivers froze over, too damn cold to go out side...thank God for the BOC...and of course Al Gore for inventing the internet.

    If ya don't mind pull that ice out and keep it in Iowa. Id like to start fishing before March. LOL
    Stay warm guys, I think were in for a long haul before spring!!!

    Thats not as bad as it is up here it is solid up here...I would get some pics but it is -12 and WINDY so He!! no im not going to the river or walking oN the pedestrian bridge!!!lol
