MMMM Soup....

    Figured we would try and pick up a few Carp today.
    But the stinking Turtles were on patrol!
    Could not set the poles down without them being dragged away!
    Wheeties Balls with Can Corn water as the binder..
    We chummed the spot with three cans of Corn and I bet about midnight tonight the place will be hot!
    Red Ear’s and Soft shell’s.. This Softie in Shane’s hands STUNK so bad he was looking like he was going to hurl as I took thee photo.. ROLF!!
    Oh well may be back tonight and see if the Carp are hanging out..

    If the turtles don't get all the chum you set out, I think you're right. You should go out carping tonight, if it's not a school day, take your boy too.

    Even though it's snow right now, I think I'm going to try some carp fishing tomorrow. There's a warm water outlet from a treatment plant nearby that draws the carp in pretty good, and I could use a little more cut bait for catfishing.

    BTW, how was the soup ?

    I've had days like that. Sometimes the turtles get so bad, it makes fishing frustrating, which is pretty hard to do. They really seem to like to tear up my cut bait, livers, and wheaties pretty good.
