Anyone over in st.charles or ? Can tell me of a good spot to do some bank fishing at the missouri river ? Would like to try in the St.Charles area . If you know a good spot can you give me directions ? I plan on going and checking it out , my brother in law lives near there . Any info. would be great .
Don't know much about bank fishing spots but I do know folks bank fish at the Blanchette Landing in St. Charles. In fact a guy caught a 70+ BLUE from the bank there that is still swimming in Cabelas Aquarium.
There is a small feeder creek just upstream from the boat ramp that empties into the MO river. That looks like a good spot to me!
Under the railroad bridge there is some good fishing. I set up there in a boat sometimes. I fish close to the current break next to the bank so it shouls be easy to fish from the bank. Lots of current and rocks. Bring the big weights and be prepared to lose some.
Around the RR bridge is decent. I've also had luck near the boat ramp off N 2nd. There's parking there too. Also, if you park south of Riverfront Park and walk the Katy trail along the river, you can find access points. I caught a couple nice ones down by the old ACF building a few years ago, but haven't actually fished there since then.

I've often wondered how many, how big, and how deep the concrete pilings were they left in the water after they demoed the old Rock Road bridge. Have you been around that area with a depth finder?
there is a spot i have done some decent night fishing, blanchett landing there is a boat ramp and just to the right of it there is a cut in were there is not as much current. i have caught a few decent channels there. lots of rip rap, my good luck came from liver and live crawdads. you can also walk up the bank to the left of the boat ramp and get near the bridge, but the water was real high last time i checked.
hope it helps
