Went out this afternoon with no luck on my side, fished 3 channel changes and not even a tug. thats why they call it fishing.
Dont know what happened to the thread before, I know some hard words were said. But who knows. Someone must have been a cry baby !!!

I must have missed that. Too bad they took the old thread down, I kind of liked looking back and seeing how everybody had done throughout the year. Oh well. I'm still waiting for the river to get down below the wing dikes before I try to get out on it. Might be waiting a long time. Until then I guess I'll stick to the little rivers and lakes.

I let my feelings go and probably should not of! I just get tired of hearing about people cutting up Big fish. If they they want to do it, its fine but they need to keep it to themselves. I will say no more about the subject!

I sent a copy of that article to the Conservation dept. and expressed my feelings about having a size limit and less hooks aloud for limb lines/trot lines. I think everyone that feels the same should also send them a comment. I have there email address if you would like it.

Thanks Glen. Thats why its called fishing, We all joke when on the river and call each other wanting to know if we are fishing or catching. :smile2: It was still a good night to be out and enjoy the outdoors.

I am thinking about going out tonight for awhile to avenge that skunk that the Waverly stretch of river put on my A_ _!!!!! There was 31 boats of 50 that did not weigh any fish and 29 that weighed something. My congrats to the team of Lofton/Young on a great win and a great stringer on fish!! That Waverly stretch from that boat ramp looks like a different river than the one here and in KC. I am not sure what the river looked like where all of the winners fished because they all trailered somewhere else to fish!!!!

Fished south last night with the Koehler Clan , managed two blues about 15#s apiece. Not Great, but we managed to knock the skunk off the boat again. We quit at 11:30, I think if a guy would have fished all night they might have got into a few more.

Anybody heard about a catfish tournament being held at Turneau (Craig, MO) this weekend? I just heard some rumors so thinking about putting in at Nodaway to avoid the crowd.
