I thought about try a new place to fish. The guys I Know who have fished down there never catch anything. They might fish a little different than me. With out any big towns it should be good.

"no big towns" is an understatement. Going to Chamois is pretty much getting away from it ALL:wink: They do have a great park and ramp there, though.

I have fished there several times never caught anything. Is may be closer to to get there by boat ( from any where ). I like the ramp. If it was closer to somewhere.

There are some real good fish around that area. The guys who won Cabela's at Waverly went over there to fish.

I'm pretty sure Marty & Roger have caught some fish down there. I've heard rumours that Justin might have also caught a fish or two out of the river.

You're right Cookie no fish in those parts
You better just stay in northern parts of the river
If you do fish in Chamois area you better leave your zebco 202 at home

This is an area I plan on hitting a lot next year and on up around where the Osage runs in to the Missouri. I read all the stories of the monsters that Virgil Agee has pulled out of that area so surely he left atleast one for me. :smile2:

I am absolutely certain that Virgil left more than one for the rest of us.
