JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri man is facing up to seven years in prison for receiving stolen fishing gear worth tens of thousand of dollars. The Missouri State Water Patrol said Monday that Keith A. Clark of Peculiar was arrested earlier this month and charged with receiving the stolen property. Police say they recovered fishing equipment taken during tournaments on the Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake and Truman Reservoir. A hearing for Clark is scheduled for September in Cass County. Neither Clark nor his attorney immediately returned a call seeking comment. The Water Patrol says one angler who claimed to have gear stolen was able to identify equipment that was being sold on the secondary market.
