Just wandering if any one has been doing any good latley. I am planning to go this weekend.
I went out on the Missouri on Sunday but didn't have any luck. I'm planning on giong tomorrow morning before work on the Mississippi. I'll let you know!
Its been a little slow lately for the Blues, at least in our section. The flatheads have been biting pretty good using LIVE large gizzard shads, or Greenbacks. (Threadfin Herrings) on Carolina Rigs. If you are going to target the Blues you might want to try downstream of the grain loading docks and the outside bends of the river on the tips of the wing dykes during daylight and the upstream sides of them during the early morning and evening hours. If you are fishing the nightime hours, try and hit the flats between two good holes. You might want to consider using smaller baits as the bite is pretty subtle right now. Good Luck.. :cool2:
