Mississippi River access. floods, floods, floods

    Thought I'd try for a while at Winfield Dam tonight. Should have known before I drug my boat all over the country that all of the local ramps are flooded!:sad2:

    Might shoot back down and fish Sandy slough from the bank. Not expecting much there but them Blues could be up in that slack water since it is up so high. Good thing I have frozen skippies.:big_smile:

    did you go back down to sandy slough? and did ya have any luck?

    Sure did and not a bite. Tried it for about a half hour is all. Then I moved to the end of the jetty north of the dam. Fished a couple of hours there with one bite....no fish.
