Hi Scott. The river has dropped back to normal summer levels and has been very stable lately. I'm hearing about a lot of people catching good numbers of fish on stink bait and crawlers. It seems most people are working the wing dams (at least they're most visible), but I'm sure the backwaters are getting worked as well. We've been doing pretty well in the tailwaters, especially around dusk. I'd suggest stopping in the Bait Shack on Kerper Blvd in Dubuque and asking for the latest info when you get into town. Good luck!
