Minnows

    Ya'll ever use minners for cat bait, I use to catch afew on them.

    I dont use them often but they will work. I rather use them for some crappie then use the crappie for cat bait.

    Haven't been able to get any shad for a couple of weeks, so minnows is about all we have to fish with. Just thread them on the hook like a worm... works pretty good.

    When I use minnows fore cats I take them and lay them out on a sheet on my shop floor put a fan on them and let them dry until the skin on the out side is dry and tough the inside of the minnow is still soft. Then you can put them in zip Lock bags and freeze what you don't use that day. . The cats seem to like them better that way, Just something else to try. Good Luck.

    Using live minnows I seem to have my best luck with two or three on a hook, hooked through the eyes. Use a big enough hook. Dead minnow I like to kind of fillet it down one side leaving the flap hanging, and thread it completely on the hook. Luck
