Minnow traps

    There's a lot of good info abt minnow traps and anything else in the library.Check it out,I've learned a lot from there.

    make one out of a 2-liter pop bottle. you cut the top off right were it starts to taper and then flip it over and put it in upside down in the hole. duct tape it or what ever you need to do to make it stay on. put some line on the bottle and put some bread in the bottle and then all you have to do is push it down in the water or if you are going to be throwing it out deep just cut some holes in it and put a couple of rocks in it and then go back later and you should have some minnows.

    i would buy one from wally world or one of our sponsors. you should already know to place it into a creek but one thing i read in field and stream one time is to bait your trap with a stick of chewing gum(not bubble gum) and they will flock to it but not eat it. be sure to check it often so it doesnt get stolen and replace your bait from time to time
