Minnow Trap

    Hey I saw some videos on youtube about building minnow traps out of a 2 liter soda bottle. I went ahead and made one but I'm not sure what kind of bait to use on the inside. They use bread on the videos but I don't know what the bait fish feed on... Any advice? Seems very interesting have any of you guys tried one?

    I'm gonna try it out at the mouth of a local creek that flows into the lake. Not sure what the baitfish are but they are in big schools and chubby, white with black pinstripe. If no luck there ill drop it in the upper section of the creek that goes through my neighborhood. I find nice crawdaddies in there and there a buncha baitfish.

    maybe some mushed up worms might be good for bait
