Been a lot of years since I fished that lake. My Uncle Earl used to take me up river throught the log jamb to fish for stripers when I was a kid.

I want to take my boat and try up river. Were you banking it or boating???

We hit Shaver for nice 15'' holdovers.

    Stripers taste even better imo....

Back then he had a 18' open wood boat with a small outboard. We would work it thriugh the log jamb to get up river.

Thanks for the report. I've only fished Millerton from the banks and only caught a few small cats. I've heard a lot about the fish up there. If you ever go and need an extra head just let me know bro. Keep the reports comin.

    Sean!
