Welcome to the BOC Will. Don't worry, someone will be by and let you
know where to fish on Milford. I can't help, but there are several that
    can.

Will, shore fishing is pretty slow right now with the spawn on. If you have a boat, drifting isn't to bad though. Shad are still pretty hard to come by now too. I finally seen some pretty good schools of shad at the Curtis Creek boat ramp, but they're to small to net.

Like Jim said, with the spawn on, shore fishing will be a little slow. Best bet right now from shore may be to float a nightcrawler under a bobber along rocky shore lines and steep muddy banks.

Jim, Willie is the guy from Nebraska that was at the campsite next to Jeff. He was over at Jeff's site for quite awhile, and I told him about the BOC. Welcome to the BOC Willie.

welcome willy, jay is right about fishing next to the rock with a bobber and about 12 to 16 inches of line and the closer the better just so your bobber will stand up correctly without the bait resting on the rocks. shrimp or nitecrawlers work well. good luck:big_smile:

Went out earlier this evening for awhile, (6:45) just to get out Catfishing, hadn't been for a couple of days. Took awhile, lake was pretty calm, did net a few shad though, 1.5 to 2". Caught one on the shad, and two on a whitebass I found floating on the shore:roll_eyes:. Caught two on the head.
Nothing big, but better'n a skunk night.

Now that is being resourceful when it comes to finding bait. I'm glad to see you didn't get skunked. Thanks for sharing the pictures Jim.

Didn't get out yesterday evening like I'd planned, I was kidnapped by a couple of neighbors, and forced:roll_eyes: to drink beer for most of the evening, when I left, they were on the ground:eek:oooh::smile2:. ANYWAY, I did get out this evening again, caught a few more Blues (3, a 5 and 2 4's) plus a 2+ Channel, right after I took the pic of me holding the fish.
Then I got a little treat tonight. Had my glowstiks on, seen a "shadow" go under my poles, and this little critter came by about 4 feet from me, picked up a Drum head that I pitched out that was'nt doing any good, he wasn't scared at all, really made the outing better, I did pay a small price though, when I took the Cats off of the stringer to put in the bucket, one of them sliced my thumb:eek:oooh::smile2:.
I'll post the last pic on the next post.
