Milford Lake Catfishing

    Well, my Catfishing is temporarily(I hope) suspended:sad2:. Checked from Broughton bridge clear down to the dam, nothing but ice, with a couple of very small open spots, that had ducks and geese in them. So, until the weather warms some, I'll just be making sinkers I reckon.

    that sucks jim i know the feeling tho ive been making sinkers for 4 days. becaus the mossouri river hear in leavenworth has big chunks of ice going down it.:angry: go figure laid off and cant even fish.

    All the lakes are going to get some thick ice on them in the next week.

    About our only option to fish is walking on ice but it's been a few years since I have ice fished.
    The older I get the less safe i fill out there.

    I might be giving it a try Sunday.:crazy:

    Giver a shot Tom, uh, hope I get to see you again:wink::smile2: Just make sure you ain't on Milford though, they're dumpin almost 2K. The lakes dropin every day, bout 1/2 a foot below normal now. There's ice, but it's gotta be saggin pretty bad.

    That is a really NEAT pic Kyle, gave me the idea to go to the museum in town, they've got all kinds of old pictures from junk town from when it was growing. Surely they'll have some of the building of the dam, and MAYBE let me copy them.
