My family and I planned to camp at Milford the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th of July. We have never camped there before and I know it is flooded. I plan to take my boat so I'd like to be able to beach it close to my campsite if possible in flooded conditions. I'd like to camp in a spot that we have access to electricity. We usually don't, but I'll be fishing a tourney Saturday night and the wife could probably use some lighting. Besides, I won't have time to fix the generator on my boat before I go so I'll need a battery charger after a couple of starts.

Any advice from those of you that are familiar with the place would be appreciated. Come see the weigh-in Sunday morning too! I'm sure there will be some nice fish being brought in.

Chad, right now, I "think" your only option is the state park (outrageously expensive), don't think there'd be any where to beach and plug in either. I think Farnum Creek (Corps) has electric, but not near the water. Just a bad time right now, sorry for the bad news. Lake's still coming up, nothing going out, supposed to be like this till around the 14th or so(?)

Thank you very much. Not what I wanted to hear, but certainly what I expected to hear. Sounds like I'd better change my plans and camp at a different lake.
