will flatheads slow down in 90 100 degree weather went last night dident even get a bite
If the spawn is over in your area try fishing some of the deeper water.
in my small river they are next to the jams and holes
try to find those areas
jams and ock piles can be very suceesful spots, don't overlook the shallow riffles though when water temps are high ...rollo:wink:
I damn near got skunked the other night myself. Caught about a 1 lb flat but that was it. I blamed it on the low river and full moon. more on the moon though since I've done decent even when the river is low before.
i haven't caught a flattie in a while, it's always slow after the spawn... matter of fact, this whole year has been slow for flatheads for me. they usually pick up in my area in the fall.
