Would like to know what people think about 2 strokes.
I have heard that this is the last year for them.
Going to build a 18 ft 60 inch flatbottom The bad thing is they
only come with 1yr warranty. Thanks for your input

I've been running a 2 stroke 50 hp oil injected for about 5 yr. No problems. Its a 3 cyl and sounds ragged idling but I,m happy.

Love 2 strokes!! They have been proven time and time again. Just bought a brand new Yamaha last year and would do it again in a heartbeat! Lighter, cheaper and simpler (Read: Less moving parts). I have no idea why everybody makes mixing oil into such a big deal. I dont mind at all. If I had a big fiberglass boat, I might think about a 4 stroke for the fuel economy of them, but on my little 14' jon boat, the 25hp 2 stroke is great on gas.
