I GENERALLY FISH THE WATERS NEARSHORE AROUND BEAUFORT, SC. I HAVE NETTED THIS PARTICULAR BAITFISH 5 TO 10 MILES OFFSHORE. I CANNOT FIND THEM NEARSHORE AS SOME CLAIM THEY DO EXIST. CAN SOMEBODY HELP WITH WHERE I MIGHT LOCATE POGIES SO CLOSE TO SHORE? I HAVE NETTED UNDER DIVING GULLS BUT TO NO AVAIL.

Try netting them off bridges or docks at night.
That's how I do it to trips to the Jersey shore.
