I looked at the comments that were left for me today. Had a very nice suprise. A member of the board that I have come to respect and look forward to their posts left a comment for me. He was thanking me for taking the time to post information for another member and stated that he appreciated it.

I read this comment and it brightened my day. Made me feel good to know that my posts are appreciated.

Tried to rep this person back, but, it said I had to spread the love some. So, since you know who you are, THANK YOU.

So, while you are perusing through the myriad of posts on the BOC, take a moment and send some rep points, and a well thought out comment to let someone know that you appreciate them, and the time that they spent answering someones question.

You could make a differance in the day that someone is having.

    Good post Tony!

I try to give more than I receive but at times I don't leave a comment.
I'll try to do better in that area. :)

Yes good comments can make your day. Just the same negative comments & neg rep can gloom your day. I had neg rep from someone that I respect, he said "Neg Rep For Poor Spelling". I am still over it.

    Nice Tony!!!!

I like several others that have posted before me, give away more than I receive. As you stated it does make you feel good that someone took the time to answer. or add to, or make a post that provides fellow BOC members some info they may not be aware of but wanted to know. It indicates appreciation to our fellow BOC brothers and sisters.

Also, where was it I read that it is better to give than receive? :)

Rep on the way Tony. I agree! I only wish it would quit telling me I've given out my limit for 24 hours, and not telling me what time I can begin again.
