Hey just wondering if anyone did any good at melvern this weekend i fished it every night and didn't get a thing. We mostly fished the upper end of the lake with a lil bit of fishing off the dam. I was thinking about going to the spillway and trying my luck today, if there letting any water outta it.

Btw im new to the forum but i have been reading posts for a few months now.

here is a couple pics of the baby flatty i "caught" at the spillway pond. i think he caught me though. i sat for about an hour w/ no action so i decided to pull it in. the line felt heavier so i thought i caught me some weeds. he was such the cutiest little thing with his big head and skinny body. couldn't get the hook out cuz he already swallowed it and i would of tore him up to get it out. i worked on it carefully for quite some time but just sent him back with it in. he kicked hard and swam off with a "good luck little guy" from me.
