Just wanted to update everyone that the meat is ordered and I will pick it up next Thursday. The rub is just about done, it takes a lot of rub for over 100lb of meat should be done tomorrow. I can't wait to get down there, its going to be a blast great food and great times to be had. Bring your feed bag, final total is 100lb of brisket and 60lbs of ribs which should be around 15 slabs.

And I got appox. 20 pounds of pulled pork smoked last weekend and its in the freezer ready to go...I also made 2 gallons of BBQ sauce..won't bring all the sauce though but will bring a couple of kecthup bottles full. Im with you Dan..can't wait to get there!!!

You all keep talking like this and I just might show up!! Sounds like a lot of great food will be getting served, will try very hard to make it for at least a visit(and plate full).

Now Jim I can't say how good the meat will be with out having a few beers. Well you have had the quota for a lifetime, but might as well have a good amount stored up, you never can have to much.

Okay guys, I've pulled things out of the freezer and put them in the cooler to start thawing...

Here's my measly contribution:
2 hen turkeys
4 whole chickens
2 sets of lamb breast
and something unusual: squirrels! (they're really good eating)

I could have thrown in more, but my cooler just wouldn't hold anything else.
