Bad news...I'm going on my 2nd summer of real bad fishing. Last summer I caught less than 10. :eek:oooh:
So far this summer, I'm still at ZERO. :embarassed:
I think the fish are avoiding me on purpose...maybe they are on strike? Maybe I'm trying to hard?

Anyone have any advice or "old war stories" about fishless summers to make me feel better?

Some fish are still bitting. I got 5 blues this morning, from 18-22lbs. I also missed about the same amount. Just have to use the the right baits at the right time.

It was going pretty slow for me too, till this week. Started useing perch and Kat Bobbers and last night I caught all three sprcies of cat. smallest was eight pounds. Just keep on trying and dont give up, your day will come. Godd luck.

Good News: The fish are not on strike anymore.

I just got back from fishing and am smiling!! I caught 4 little pond catfish :smile2:
The first one was within 30 seconds of my first cast...I had not even finished baiting my second pole. :smile2: :smile2:
