The water was fast... real fast today and the cats, skips, drums and gar were biting.

I caught 2 drums largest was 6 1/2 Lbs, one 6 Lb blue and 2 channels that were 3 lbs each.

The gar all over the place yesterday but the bait fish were still everywhere. Some people were foul hooking the gar and some folks down river about 300 yards caught 2 large cats around 3ft long.

The BOC had 3 members down there that I know of including myself. One caught a blue about 40 feet from me that was over 15+ lbs.

Even thought the hydro gage showed the water climbing it was not, the water was falling and had dropped over 4 feet in 18 hours. The fish did not seem to mind.

I caught my fish using Nightcrawlers and the cats where caught on shrimp.

Here are a couple of pics.

Big Skippies still running good at the falls! I even caught a few moon eye. Be sure to take an extra Sabiki rig and old shoes, lots of mud.
