    Took a freind out last night who is moving to North Carolina. He hasn't fished in about 30 years and is going to try peir fishing when he moves there. He caught 1 fish, heres a pic.

    He was gonna keep it. I talked him out of it and it was released. I'm pretty much catch and release unless someone I'm fishing with wants a few. I got shut out with bluegills, he got that on a nightcrawler.

    good for you joe! they would be ok to eat if it wasnt so nasty. i eat a few lil ones each year, but wouldnt feed a big one to my family. they have warning signs in ft wayne about water quality!

    From the smile on his face looks like he had his self one fun time, that is a really nice flathead he caught too, thanks for sharing the picture I wish you more luck on your fishing trips.
