Have any of you ever used these Matzuo sickle hooks for cats? I got some today in 2/0,4/0,5/0 they have an X wide gap.

Last spring/summer I used them for fishing with shad guts and cut shad and they worked excellent. God bless.

my neighbor has some of these. he got the sea circle type. the narrow gap. i had never seen them before. i was wondering how they work. ill se if he has used them yet and see what he thinks. im willing to try anything once. ive never seen them in dicks or gander mt. are they fairly new??

I was thinking those wide gaps would be good for gills & shad.

I had never seen them before until last week. I don't know if they are new or not,but I got some to try. I found them at K-Mart of all places.
