Are They Like Khale Hooks, J-Hooks Or Circle Hooks?? Do You Have To Set The Hook Or Let The Fish Load The Rod And Just Pick It Up And Reel??

I now use matzuo hooks and none other because they are sharp and just great hooks. The matzuo version of the khale hook is called shiner hooks and they are awesome. I also like matzuo circle hooks for drift fishing. I settled on matzuo hooks after trying all the brands. I had a great time using and experimenting with the different brands and styles of hooks.

I have started using the wide gap sickle hooks, I set the hook but have not had any swallow it. All were hooked in corner of mouth.

They are certainly cheaper than other hooks. Worth a shoot I guess.
