Went to Markland Dam on 8-30 and had no problem catching skipjack. They seemed to be harder in the morning to catch but as the day went on it got easier. My brother and I Bottom-Bounced all day and managed to catch 9 blues from 16lbs down to 6 lbs. We were using 13 ounces to keep us bouncing on the bottom.

    Thanks IronCat

A day of bouncing will work up an appetite.

we get as close to the red line as possible. It is easier if one guy fishes and the other one drives. you have to constatly keep on the throttle to keep the boat positioned. snags happen often but it is worth it. once you get a fish on we will cut the motor and drift back
