I have tryed the round marker bouys and square ones you buy at bas pro. Didnt work to well in big river current. I have a 997c sidefinder so Im trying to ad some accuracy to my anchorings. Does any one out there know of a product that works good. Thanks

window weights that come out of old wooden windows, shaped like a torpedo they head strait to the bottom and stick. use the square flat bouys rerigged with heavier masonary line tied to the window weight. will handle a strong current without unrolling or drifting downstream.

I agree with Andy on this. Heavy weight is needed and the square one will hold in place better than the round ones in current.
