I was wondering which campground would be a good choice for tent camping at Mark Twain Lake. I will only be able to camp Friday night and everything I am finding is requiring a 2 night stay. I am planning on fishing all day friday, friday night and most of saturday for any whiskered fish that bites. I have heard that Lick Creek, indian creek, and middle fork is producing right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Indian Creek campground is my favorite Scott. Don’t know about the minimum 2 day thing. Water is still up and muddy but any day on the water is great. Enjoy yourself and the fine fishery Mark Twain provides.

During the summer just about all the campgrounds rent their spots for the whole weekend.. I haven't seen any that will just do 1 day on the weekend..
