March 2 Results - Best day in a LONG TIME!!

    Took 30 minutes or better before we even found a single piece of bait.... and then it was on.

    49, 29, 25 , 12, a couple of 10s, etc. You get the picture. :wink:

    Only thing that could have been better was a stronger anchoring system. That wind was crazy.

    Missouri River, New Haven access. We didn't see another boat 'til we loaded up to go home.

    Congrats on a great day! I must admit.....I am a bit jealous!!:roll_eyes:

    Just curious, did you release the bigguns? How deep were they? What was the water temp? What are the GPS Coordinates? ect,ect,ect.....:eek:oooh::eek:oooh:


    Good Job! This place needed a positive fishing report!! There has been a case of skunkitis going through here!

    Yeah, "bigguns" released as we had several between 6-10lbs for a good ol' fry. It seems the most of them were caught in 15-20' but with the wind blowing us around, it could have been 5-30'. Water temp, GPS coords... I wish. No fancy electronics on-board other than cell phone, camera and a cheap ol' fish-finder.

    Looks like you guys got into some real nice fish. I was also curious about the water temperature,but you said you didn't have water temp on your fish finder,right. It doesn't really matter what the water temp was as long as they were biting like that.

    i live up the river about 20 miles. I went to Thruman and let me the wind beat the heck out of me. sound like i should of stayed at home. congrats.
