March 15 Spoonbill fish

    Between to boats and five guys we snagged 8 with an average weight of 40 lbs the biggest was sixty five lbs. the one i am holding in the pic weighed 50 lbs. That was my first day spoon bill fishing ever. not be eh. my friend new what they were doing, i was just along for the ride.

    has no clue what a spoonbill is.

    Were you on the Lake of the Ozarks or Truman parts of the Osage? Both of those places hold some nice fish like what you got.

    We were up in the head waters of truman. i am not exacty sure where. But it was a lot of fun. Where were you fishing?

    I started out down on the James River arm of Tablerock up around Carr Bottoms and below Ashercane Bottoms.
