Man-made lake (striper pit)

    Theres a stripper pit they made into a lake, it has very little if any structure in it, well the catfish be in shallow water with no structure or should i fish in the deep parts only??

    what lake are you wanting to know about? most of those pits have plenty of fishable structure.... drop offs ,shallow flats, weed beds , points holes, submerged trees .. in the 3 big lakes i fish the deeper areas first them move to the trees. but they are all closed untill february...

    which ones you know about ~ really dont know about fishing in this area:confused2:

    the 3 big ones are the ones i fish.. bluegrass ,otter and loon pits all 3 are full of channels

    yeah blue grass is closed until waterfowl season is over ... ive never fished the big lakes only the smaller ones ... caught some really nice size bass out of them .. havent caught a cat yet out of them tho.
