That pic of that catfish looked like a cross between a catfish, sturgen, and a stealth fighter. Strangest fish I have ever saw:eek:oooh:

The mouth on that thing looked like it might handle a small dog, but not anything bigger. I think it's more folk story stuff.

I'd say there's all kinds of man eating catfish in the river I fish,,,,,,,if the man were dead and in the water for a while,,,,,,,,I can imagine those channels chunking away at a body........

Considering we're talking about a river in India where people have been
dumping funeral pyres for centuries, I'd find it easy to believe that the big
fish in the river had acquired a taste for charred long pig especially in small
bite sized chunks. Only a matter of time til one of them fish decides to
take a small one that's still moving a bit. I think they can spare a couple
of teenaged boys for the catfish in the Great Kali. Named the river after
their goddess of death and some kid decides to take a swim in it...Now
watch some Texan go to India directly to transplant the species to
the Rio Bravo then claim it on his taxes as a contribution to national
    security.
