any one make there own bobers?
Bobbers are so cheap that I would be wasting my time making them. Much easier to pick up a pack at Wal-Mart while buying groceries.
Yeah, I have never heard of anyone making thier own bobbers, best thing to do is buy them.
NO, but i would think it would be easy to make. Using balsa wood and a small wood lathy to make the shape.
not big one's. As a young boy I would collect turkey feathers, remove everything but the quill add a O-screw to them and a little hot glue. Worked like a charm for bream.
I think you will find a few who make their own extra large size bobbers. I saw one guy's post and his were made from noodles and were about a foot long. He did not buy them in any store.
I think its best just to buy em, they are so cheap anyone can afford them.
I made my own out of noodles just because I like doing it, I have also made my own minnow trap and rod holders, etc etc.
Here is a link to Maine Wolf products, they sell bobbers. I strongly reccomend them, they work great at a great price. Also a BOC sponser, got to support the ones that support us.
check this out. Its Doc's (Doctor) website. The guys has all kinds of awesome stuff on there. This is a real easy and cheap way to make your own bobbers. Made some last night and I am very happy with them. I made them just a little bit smaller than he did since i'm just using them on the lake. Good luck.
balloones make great bobbers a pack of them are about a buck. about the same for regular bobbers
Well you asked for it!!! This is a 24 oz soda bottle that is rigged with weight and wire to work just like most slip bobbers. In the center is a straw glued into the lid that holds a 2" chem glow stick.
