Im not going to get into specifics because all an angler has is his spots and his favorite bait.good channel cat fishing can be had through out the river. Some that produce well are lake fredrick, new cumberland area, the mouth of the juniata r.As far as bait there is only 1 bait for big channels cut bait

Fishing got slower after the last post.I was still catching fish just nothing extraordinary.I was ready to give it a rest through june and let the fish complete the spawn. After hearing the quality fish were still biteing from fellow BOC member catfishkiller. We went out sat night in seperate boats.I fished the east bank and caught a lot of medium fish and 1 15.2# in my boat.On the a other side they didnt get the numbers i did but the guy bill was fishing with landed a 25# 37" bruiser. That was enough to get me out Sun. night I got a new personal best @ 24# 37" I also got a 19# 2 17#s and 1 15#.and a lot of mediums. This new area has some serious promise and hopefully that next state record.Ill post some pics i was by myself so they didnt come out as nice as i would have liked.
