Once again this year, the Corps exibits their consideration and generosity to our Armed forces, retirees and their dependents by allowing them to free boat ramp and park access:eek:oooh:

But the local rag, after publishing that news flash, fails to mention that the ramp access fees cease as of 31 Oct, the parks are closed for the year, and when they are open there is no access fee, just a camping fee:wink::roll_eyes::smile2::smile2:

If ya gotta give somebody something, give them something they already
got at no expense to yourself. Make sure they thank you for it too.
Yeah, Gary, even folks that use those twenty-five cent words got to
look up how to spell them. That's why they got automatic spell checkers
these days. If you can remember how to use one, they are frustrating
but everyone thinks you are a lot smarter if you due.

Nope, it was there all the time Gary:smile2:, just never had the appropriate opportunity to use it. I did check it after I wrote it(spell check), but I got it right the first time:smile2::wink:

I reckon it makes em feel good to give something they already got. Looks good in the news to people who don't know the difference.
