Has anyone fished the Mad River in Dayton?

grew up right next to it near downtown Dayton, have fished it since i was a kid. a little bit of everything in the river but the fish tend to run small. have taken a couple 8lb channels over the years though, lots of small smallies, saugeye, white bass, perch, a few trout (in dayton city limits but very few), suckers, chubs, carp, pike, you name it. its a really clean, cool, and clear running stream/very small river. averages about 1-2ft deep but there are holes that go 10ft +. the further north you go the more trout you will encounter.

Thanks for the report an update on that area. Sure wish we had trout swimming more often in our area here.
