What's the best lure for river fishing with a decent current? The water is fairly clear and approximately 3-8 ft in depth. Thanks

The crank bait bite has been really good here. Ya might also try a gig with a trailor, or some other sort of plastic bait. Perhaps at nite a black spinner bait with big loud colorado blades may work. Good luck and welcome to the BOC.

Try a lipless crankbait. (Rattle Trap) Chose the color according to the water clarity.

Ive been throwing a Shake-It-Jig (crawdad color) made by Fightin' Bass Lures Co. 3/8oz. I've had real good sucess with it.on Spring River in Arkansas. They also make a Twin Spin Spinner Bait that is awesome There the only company I know that makes them I use it alot in a slower current
