It seems like when I go fishing I have one rod that will get the most hits . It dosnt mater whether I have 2 or 4 rods out and they are all rigged the same. That one rod will get the most hits. Dose anyone else have a rod that seems lukier than the rest?

That proves ya don't need expensive or heavy equipment to enjoy fishing.

for me the one that gets the most hits is when im fooling with another pole.It never fails when you go to bait a hook or tie on then you will get a hit on another rod,it never fails with me.

A lot of people I talk to have "lucky" rods. It seems that with me, the big cats will dodge around all six of my 6500s, to get to my two 6000s. Dunno why, but that's the way it seems!:smile2::wink:

Mine seems to be my Abu Garcia Ambassador 6000. Its on a MH Quantum BigCat rod and its the smallest that I have.. I seem to catch the most in it.. But my PB Flathead ( 52# ) came on a $19.95 Graphite Combo from wal-mart with 50lb spiderwire on it... The pole was so cheap blue gills would double it over.. And it was sad to say I loved that rod and real for that reason but it met it end at the National Gathering at KY Lake.. Wont say how, but its at the bottom..:smile2::smile2::smile2:

Yes mine is the shortest of my setups. I will put 6 out at every hole and only catch fish with the short rod.

I don't have that pronounced of a difference, but I'll agree with the lightest and cheapest part!

My father-in-law had a 17$ combo that he would always catch 3 to 1 when trout fishing...

Different line? Different smell? What in the world is it?!??!? The world may never know
