i fish the delaware river all the time and have only caught one walleye but it was decent size. well i took a friend up to the river to fish for some smallmouth and that lucky guy catchs a walleye on his first trip on the delaware. where i fish they are not very common and you really need to work to catch them. in fact my grandfather who lives on the river and fishs pretty often never caught one. so i was pretty surprised to see my friend hold up a walleye even if it was a small one.

yea i will, so what are some tricks you guys use when there arnt alot of walleyes around? i think i might need to drift night crawelrs more often at dusk and dawn. but when the water warms up do you fish in the fast water or pools?
