Just got off the water at 10:00 am. Randy invited me up to do some fishing last night. What a difference a couple days make. Randy caught 4 flatheads and I caught one flat & one channel. We had a 5 flathead limit for 102 pounds, and my tiny 5lb channel, for a grand total of 107 pounds for the night. Even the rain couldn't make them stop hitting. We also missed connecting on two hooksets apiece. Shoulda had four more flats in the boat.

They are in order ( I think) 7lb,17lb,26lb,32lb, and a 20 pounder. Didn't photo the channel.

I put a couple close-ups of Randy's fish in the Muskingum River Photo thread.

good job guys, looks like randy's luck is rubbin off on ya skip...lol. do you think this is the beggining of the fallbite for ya'll? I like to keep an eye on you guys up there to try and time the seasonal patterns down here. I guestimate we're under a month away from some real good fishing down here.

Skip and Randy; Great job fella's. Glad to see you guys had a good night. I figured that rain would bring the bite on. The coming days ought to be great. Were you guys fishing holes or shoreline structure? Around what time do you think they were biting best? Once again guys: Congrats.....

Nice fish and thanks for posting. Things are sure changing in SW Ohio as well so I think after Ike's remnants move through and cooler temps this week we are all set for a great fall season.
