I recently had to do some tweeking of my foot control trolling mtr and my freind the mechanic showed me how simple it was to remove four screws on the head and lube the cables and all the gears. It made a world of difference and it was pretty easy (for him). I have in the past lubed the cables on the foot portion but was too scared to remove the top. After seeing it work just thought I would pass it along. Good preventative maintenance= Disclaimer: The above BOC member is not responsible if when you attempt this "simple" PM, lots of springs and bolts and gizmos jump out and shoot all over the place never to be found and are no longer produced by anyone ever, I am not responsible!! My buddy is a mechanic, I break things!
