I am replacing the seals in my 1987 70 hp Mercury outboard (OB207366) and when I put everything back together, the shift rod clicks loudly when going into gear. WHen I drop the lower unit it shifts fine, I know I messed with the position of the shift cam that the needle bearing rides on, but I dont know what position is F-N-R on the shift cam. Can someone please help, I have missed 2 days of fishing for this little repair!

Here is the schematic for my lower unit look at part # 15

Looking at the unit from the front of the prop the cam should twist CC all the way to neutral. I do believe.
