    The fact that the fish is hanging from his lips half stiff might give you a clue. What a bummer.

    well...the fish looks a little on the dry side to me...but, also it says, "Day had the fish certified by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries the next day." more than likley he didn't leave the fish in the water overnight and surely didn't have a livewell big enough to hold that puppy...

    that fish would be pretty nasty to eat. my guess is he mounts it. i sure hope he does something useful with it.

    The article came out in the Baton Rouge advocate last year he did in fact eat it he and his son regulary fish the mississippi rive roff the bank at night he could not land it by himself so he called his son to come help they weighed it the next morning and then cleaned it some people catch and release some people eat them me i through the larger ones back but my personal best is only 33 lbs can you imagine catching that big boy from the bank :eek: p.s it was caught on nightcrawlers from walmart
