I got a call at about 5pm tonight and found out that my Uncle Bob passed away today. This was the person that got me into hand gun hunting and was my shooting Hero. We were planning on a hunting trip to his place this Thanksgiving and he was excited for us to get together again..........
As I sit here and type this I cannot keep the tears from my eyes and have thought of a million times I could have called him or went to see him. I will miss him..... Please take a minute or two tomorrow and let the people that are special to you know that they are..

Rest in Peace Uncle Bob....I will be thinking of you.

My uncle was the first to get me into groundhog hunting and teaching me to reload for performance.I still use the bedding and mull powder measure he bought me for christmas one year.He has been gone a while now but I think of him often.I just wished I was able to buy his Ruger #1 it was a .243 with the varmint barrel and a leupold straight 12 power target scope. There is no telling the rounds that went downrange in that rifle. After he passed I did buy a .220 swift in the same model but I would trade it and five more just like it for his personal rifle.I guess most everyone has a story of a person like that.Sadly it still doesn't make it easier when they are gone.Prayers sent and try and think about all the things that you learned from him and pass it on.
